Super Man Purses

Here's this week's NPR Sunday Puzzle:
Name a famous movie in eight letters that has had multiple sequels. The title is one word. Rearrange its letters to get a two-word phrase for a satchel. What is it?
Ross solved it by looking up "satchel" in Wiki and finding a reference to "man purse." As Ross is very good at anagrams, he saw SUPERMAN = MAN PURSE right away. Because the "man" isn't anagrammed, he's a bit disappointed. Me, I don't care.

Let's see if Flickr has anything for "man purse" (which will mean the words "man" and "purse" together in the description. No. There are photos, but nothing worth sharing. On to my preferred search term: the name of the new month. I give you, September!

Great "September" pictures, Magdalen. I especially like the "boat in the canal." (Do you think I could get a job writing clever captions for photos?)

Regarding this past week's NPR form glitch: When I filled out the form I did not even notice it was asking me for my phone number. I did not get the call.

After spending inordinate amounts of my allowance and paper route earnings on Superman and Action Comics, Will's movie emphasis made for hard going.
I think all of my video Superman memories are of George Reeves on television and may have never seen any of the big screen versions.
